The BSM cum Exhibition was organized for
the first time in Sri Lanka by Indian
Footwear Components Manufacturers Association( IFCOMA)
and supported by Ceylon National Chamber of Industries(CNCI)
and Sri Lanka – German Private Sector Promotion Project at
Hotel Galle Face. About 20 Indian companies participated in
the same to create awareness amongst small and medium scale
Footwear manufacturers and provide direct linkage between buyers
and sellers of the quality footwear components. It is hoped that
this would also help
Footwear manufacturers of Sri Lanka by
importing their components from India which
will help in saving considerable time, cost
and other overheads.
