After a gap of two years, fourth Buyers Sellers meet was organized at Hotel Little Chef, Kanpur by IFCOMA on the 20th December'2004.

Shri Sanjay Gupta, Vice-President, IFCOMA anchored the inaugural function and invited the dignitaries on the dais to the podium to brief the gathering.
In his inaugural address Shri Mani Almal,President IFCOMA extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries, participants and the eminent personalities of the footwear industry from Kanpur and thanked them for making the show successful.
He asserted that Footwear component is the backbone to Shoe
Industry. IFCOMA is making all efforts with the support of its members, CLE and the Indian Govt. to find a respectable space in the International market.

Shri CV RAO, DGM SIDBI in his brief speech was full praise for the IFCOMA's role in organizing such events and he felt that this is the best platform for the shoe components people
to share their product quality with their ultimate buyers. He also invited the industry to come forward and avail various schemes and finance benefits through SIDBI.
He said SIDBI offers various loans for setting up an industry and expansion of the projects by way of term loans, soft loans etc.

Mohd Mukhtarul Amin expressed that the Kanpur shoe Industry has grown big in the last few years and substantial credit must go to the component industry.
The scenario would not have changed if there was not any improvement in the footwear components industry in the past.
He was all praise for the efforts and role of IFCOMA in building up the foundation for the Component Industry.
He observed that IFCOMA's Display Center at NOIDA is a unique way of promoting the Footwear Components to the outside world.

Brig. BB Murhty, Controller CQA, Textile & Clothing was pleased and felt great to be part of the fourth BSM at Kanpur and an excellent exhibition as this was his first exposure to such occasion.
He appraised the participants that the
defense services is in need of some good quality components for their annual requirement of 5-6
lakes pairs of shoes in different styles.
He insisted that the component manufacturers should come forward and meet their officers to understand the actual requirements in terms of product, quality, price & delivery.
