He underlined the need of improving relationship with India by resolving issues of importance & suggested the industries to send proposals with firm plan to boost exports. He said that the Government expects that the Industry should focus on the growth aspect keeping check on the quality & pricing front. He promised that the Govt would help the industry to fulfill its urge to improve & perform better.
He said that the Pakistan Government is keen to open Wagah border & allow specific products, which is mutually beneficial for both the countries. We enjoy same culture, language & food habits with India & this should rather be considered effective tools to boost economic ties.

He said that Pakistan producers have been importing 80% components from exporting the same components to the whole world. This will give boost to increase in competition among the local industry & lowering of prices, which in turn would bring increase in exports & benefit to the consumer.
