The IFCOMA 4th Buyers-Seller Meet (1st time in Calcutta) cum Exhibition of Components, Accessories, Leather and Machinery for Footwear and Leather Goods organised by (IFCOMA) Indian Footwear Components Manufacturers Association in association with (NLDP) National Leather Development Programme and supported by Merchant Chamber of Commerce, Calcutta was inaugurated by Mr. Jawhar Sircar, IAS, Secretary, Dept. of Commerce & Industry, West Bengal on 3rd March 2000 at Great Eastern Hotel, Calcutta. Mr. G.C. Bahuguna, Executive Director, Bata India Limited was the Chief Guest and Mr. S.P. Roy Burman Chairman, Khadims was the guest of honour. The IFCOMA most prestigious millennium award - 1999 was presented by Shri. Mani Almal (President IFCOMA) to Mr. G.C. Bahuguna Executive Director Bata India Limited, Mr. S.P. Roy Burman Chairman Khadims guest of honour was welcomed with a momento by Shri. Sudhir Rastogi and Mr. Sanjay Sen President ILTA was honoured with IFCOMA excellent award presented by Shri. Amarendra Sinha NPM-NLDP. On 4th March 2000 a video presentation on the upcoming Calcutta Leather Complex (CLC) was made by M.L. Dalmlya & Ltd. Calcutta then after in the evening IFCOMA arranged a Cocktail Dinner at Bengal Club, Calcutta which was sponsored by M/s. N.M. Zackaria of Chennai.
