At present we are about 160 Members from all over India and we should strive for making aware the fellow colleagues in the Industry about our Association so that we have a large strength and We unite and work together for the upliftment of our SSI Sector into a Large Sector, IFCOMA is a name that should reach one day to every household of India, should be our Future Aim.
Finally he wished good luck to the participants & thanked the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and other institutions like FDDI, CLE, SIDBI, CLRI, SISI, CFTI in supporting the endeavour of IFCOMA.

Guest of Honour Major General Vikram Madan expressed his pleasure to be present in the IFCOMA-BSM. He appreciated the efforts of IFCOMA in promoting the quality up gradation of footwear components by organizing such interactive buyer seller meets.
He informed the house that defence is opening up for entire leather industry. He is looking forward to change the conventional trend. He also updated that he has been in touch with IFCOMA members for regular discussion vide respective products.

to bring up a quality PT shoes. The industry should come together to make a sturdy product, which could last for atleast 18 months, required for the Indian soldiers. It should be produced on cost effective prices. Jawans should feel comfortable while wearing these PT shoes. Defence personnel need these shoes in big quantities to the tune of 7-8 lakh pairs per annum. Therefore the footwear industry must gear up to bring up the desired product with durable quality and reasonable price.

He apprised the audience that SIDBI has various schemes to offer to the footwear & leather industry. Experts from the footwear industry are being sent from SIDBI to take a holistic appraisal of different projects that are coming up in the concerned trade. SIDBI is willing to support whole heartedly to enable the industry to grow further and industrialists can put their efforts in the right direction. He concluded his speech by wishing good response to the BSM participants & success to this BSM cum exhibition.
